Hi All,
We have requirement for updating patch for SAP_ABA and SAP_BASIS from 03 to 05
We started with SAP_BASIS 4 and 5 in queue. But got stuck as SAP_BASIS 5 require SAP_ABA 4.
Facing this error in DDIC_ACTIVATION phase
Table /1PYXXFO/SAP_PAYSLIP_____L0001 could not be activated
Table /1PYXXFO/SAP_PAYSLIP_____L0020 could not be activated
Any solution.
Regards
Prashant

Hi Prashant Dhas,
When ever you want apply the support packages before applying you need to check the prerequisites from the mraket place or from the SPAM it self. After that you can start applying . So that you can avoid this kind of errors.
Now for this problem if you were able to reset the queue then reset it and then apply ABAP 4 and then try to apply BASIS5. After applying please check the tables whether they are in active mode or in inactive mode. If those are in inactive mode then in SE11 try to activate it.
Thanks,
Chaitanya.
Hi All,
Thanks for all your help.
The problem is resolved by deleting the tables which was causing the error and the import went fine. Need to take up with SAP as why the tables and its corresponding dependencies were to delete and it went fine. What are the consequences of deleting the tables?
