Serial Numbers for delivery

Hi,

i am cerated serial no. But it created only one no.

when i am cerated outbound delivery, serial no. is assigned.

But when i am trying to PGI showing the following error

Pls help me out

Item 000010 requires exactly 5 serial numbers for the asset

Hi,

Goto the Delivery document in VL02N and in the Extras---->serial number. Enter all the Serial Numbers with the Numbers in the serial Profile and save it

If not resolved, check the SAP note # 1000234

Now Do the PGI.

Hi Mr. Rao,

Looks like your material configure in that way, it requires 5 serial number.

You do one thing --> Go to IQ04 --> Give your maerial number --> Then in the field "No. serial numbers" give the figure how many serial number you want --> Like one you have already created --> Give 4 in the field "No. serial numbers" --> Enter

If your serial number require equipment view also --> then click at "View selection" --> Click at equipment --> Enter --> Save

After that go to delivery and assign your serial number to your materials.

Dear Rao,

while selecting the serial no in delivery ..

there are 2 option 1. system will pick the serial no as bedefault option and the 2nd is automatic serial no tab..

so please select automatic option.. here system will take the serial no. just next onward in series to your last value..

note : if above option not sopport then u have to create serial no in multiple sequence in MB1c..
