Error: in NWDS 7.1 installation

Hi Experts!

I have downloaded the NWDS 7.1 SP9 (latest) from the sap site. I have installed the same but i am not able to see the java prospective.

After going thru blog i came to know that we need to do the proxy setting to download the updates from online.

Could any one explain what the exact setting to be done in network connection.

i am not using any proxy in my browser to connect to internet.In the browser lan setting i "use automation configuration script" and give the adress.

please suggest!!

It seems the download was not perfect , i asked the Basis team to take care .. and they did the fresh download and after some configuration and updates it worked for me.

Hi,

I dont think so you need to download extra proxy settings,i have downloaded NWDS intslled it,its working perfectly.

check you downloaded full NWDS,if anything missind it gives error.
