Hi,

In the TAXINJ it is very clear that for Tax calculation, Tax procedure is used and from there it will be copied to Pricing Procedure.....

But in the case of TAXINN,

Pricing Procedure is used for both pricing and tax calculations ???

If yes, then what is the use of TAXINN proceuidre ??

Hi,

Thanks for the information.

I have gone through the document, but still having few clarifications on it.

They are:

1. Both SD pricing procedure and TAXINN tax procedure are maintained.... Why both the procedures have been maintained....How do they relate each other ???

2. In pg 13 of the document, it has nbeen mentioned like:

"In this IMG activity, you define which tax procedure and pricing condition types are used in calculating excise taxes using formula-based excise determination".

Under that, it has been mentioned like you have to maintain TAXINN....But TAXINN is only for Condition based... whereas in the Use part it has been mentioned as Formula based why...

Please help

Regards

Hi

As you ,might know with TAXINN we can use our own pricing pricing procedure instead of default pricing procedure.

In Excise settings for condition types maintenance ,

we specify which pricing procedure and condition types we want to relate to different excise duty conditions.

so this way when you are using different pricing procedures for different purposes you have to specify which condition types you are using for Excise say BED ,BED total, AED ,Total etc.

These condition type identification along with default pricing procedure provided by SAP are used in ABAP code when filling screen values in T.Code J1IIN. and they are also used in ARE 1 processing.

Regarding the point of formula based,as you may have read that TAXINN supports both Condition and formula. While TAXINJ- old one only supports formula based pricing why that is mentioned.

For tax part like Service Tax, Sales Tax still it is linked to FI tax procedure through FTXP and there in background formula based pricing is used as far as I have checked. You may be able to check it further.

I hope this is helpful to you ,
