CIF issue with delivery documents.

Hi,

We are using SCM 4.1 connected to R/3 4.7 system.

I have some questions related to transfer of delivery documents from R/3 to SCM through CIF.

1. how deliveries are transferred to APO through CIF?..what CIF channel in CFM1 need to be selected?.

2. in our system we can see that deliveries are transferred to APO and are visible in product view. But we are not sure by what means they are transferred to APO.

3. More importantly when the deliveries are made in R3, they are updated to APO (through CIF?) and are visible in APO.

However, due to some reasons, if deliveries are deleted in R3, they are not getting updated to APO. (deliveries are deleted

in R3 but still available in APO)why this inconsistency?

4. How to check delivery document inconsistency checks through CCR?

5. we know that we can use transaction /sapapo/sdorder_del to delete un wanted deliveries in APO. is it only the way to delete deliveries in APO?

6. Fundamentally when deliveries are created in R3 they are transferred to APO through CIF, but when they deleted in R3, why

they are not deleted in APO?

Hi Krish,

Find the below details,

1. For transfer of Deliveries to APO, you need to select the Sales Order intergration model through CFM1.

2. Through Sales Oder Model the deliveries gets updated in APO product view.

3. The inconsistency may be due to live cache.

4. Delivery document inconsistency checks can be checked throug CCR using the option shipment under 'documents to be checked ' section.

5. You can delete the unwanted deliveries from CCR also.

6. As mentioned in point 3, this happenes because of live cache inconsistencies.

Thanks much for your time and reply.

from your reply i got clarified that the delivery docs are transfered to APO through sales order integration model.

Thats fine. but when ever delete a delivery document in R3, that is not triggering CIF and we found that the docuemnt still exists in APO.

we have performed Live cache consistencies even document exists in APO.

CCR is not recognizing the documents even sales order and shipments check boxes selected.

The only program that recognizing such delivery documents in APO is the sdorder_del program.

But it is tidious that every time a delivery document deleted in R3, manually delete in APO through that program.

Please provide any valuable inputs to deal this issue automatically by the system.

It should be recognized by the CCR,if not the please check for the OSS Notes in SAP marketplace or raise OSS Message.
