We are trying to determine if this is feasible. We want to connect multiple ECC clients to one PI client during our integration testing phase. Also, each one of these clients will have ABAP proxies.
ECC Clients.
QE1.200 \
QE1.210 \
QE2.400 > QX1.100 - PI Server
QE2.410 /
QE2.420 /
All pointing to QX1.100 - PI Server
Is it possible?

Hi,
>>>All pointing to QX1.100 - PI Server
>>>Is it possible?
sure it is
there is nothing special in that - you treat every client as a different system
important
just remember that if you connect them to one PI you won't be able to do transports easily
between clients (if this would be necessary) -
so no transports from QE1.200 to QE1.210 for PI
as they are linked to one PI

OK, so let me summarize. It is possible to have multiple clients with one PI server but the only issue is with transports between those clients? What if we have client 200 and 210 on one box and 400 and 410 on another. But they all need to point to one PI client. This is still good. I don't think the transports is an issue as when we transport we will be transporting from DE to all QE clients.
