Changes From MDM 5.5 to 7.1 ??

Does anyone aware of changes from MDM5.5 to MDM 7.1 ??

If so, can you differentiate between them?

With MDM 7.1, new added features are:

1. Support for multi-object repositories

2. Support for nested structures

3. Improvements for Inbound and Outbound Processing.

8. New UI Components with (SP04): Ready made UI components (WebDynpro Java) for Search, Result Set, and Item Details

10. Directly Connect SAP NetWeaver MDM with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services using DB Views

Hi Eva,

The main differences between these two is:

7.1 can have multiple main tables

7.1 has a new concept called tuples

7.1 can interact directly with PI using MDM PI adapter.

Hi,

There are many useful enhancement in MDM 7.1. Check the SAP Note 1070163 (MDM 7.1 SP00 for details).

MDM 7.1SP04 is the latest version and it also has some enhancement over previous 7.1 Versions( check SAP note # 1385073)
