Gruouping the Users and Mask

Hi,

I have created constraint for single user using mask to restrict a user from viewing specific records in MDM Data Manager. However, can anyone please tell me what If I have 1000 users, for example, 100 from usa, 50 from France, 200 from Italy and so on. Is there a way that I can create groups for similar type of users? So that I don't have to do masking 1000 times for all users.

Hemal,

I hope you are trying to use a mask as a constraint for user level access restrictions. In this case create different roles for different regions (USARole, FranceRole etc) and the mask constraint assignment is done anyway at the role level. So, you have a control over contraint assignment as once it is assignment is done to a specific role, it will be reflected for all the users assigned to that role.
