Picking difference handling

Hi,

I have a pick TO generated in the system for 10 PCS. Now suppose the picker got only 9 PCS in the bin, so he needs to change the TO and confirm. But the system does not allow to edit the quantity in the TO. Is there any way by which we can change the quantity in the pick TO while confirming it.

what you have described is a normal procedure to confirm a 'TO with differences'. while confirming the transfer order just enter the 'Actual quantity' as 9 and 'Difference quantity' as 1. Give a difference indicator and confirm the TO by saving it.

For a putaway TO, I have this option of changing the quantity and confirming the differences but for the picking TO (i.e. TO against the outbound delivery) I dont have the option of changing the qty as the qty is uneditable...

This may be due to incorrect configuration settings.

In transaction OMLX

Under Confirmation Control: Movement type

Check the configuration for movement type 601 and your warehouse number

Here the entry for 'Screen TO Quit' should be 2
