IS insurance

Hi,

I have a ECC6 Non IDES system with me . Is it possible to add the pathces of IS insurance component into it.

Hello Jituda,

As you can see in note 838003 and also in SAP documentation the Industry

solutions are part of ECC 6 installation. It is not possible to upgrade

or install one ECC 6.0 standard system without these Industry Extension

components.

As of Release mySAP ERP 2005, the Industry Solutions software is not

delivered separately from the standard system, but instead forms part of

the mySAP ERP Central Component (SAP ECC) with the name SAP ECC Industry

Extension Utilities.

However in order to use the functionality of the Industry Extension, it

must be activated specifically using the Switch Framework.

Thanks a lot for your promt reply.

The scenario is that my system is SAP Neatweaver 2004s, SAP basis,abap with level 16 release 700,BW with 13 & PI with 12 level patch. I have searched in the marketplace for the upgradation guide for IS insurance,but no luck.

Could anyone give me some idea what are the other component i have to add to find a system with IS Insurance.
