Level Evaluation in BID invitation Workflow

IN SRM7.0,

We Are Using Process controlled Workflow ,in this according to purchasing Group how many approvers(Dynamic) will be determined.

Problem is How many process levels i need to configure,

If i configure maximum levels in Process level , in some cases its not required that many levels,

document it is waiting for furthur level approval,also

How to check the furhur level is required or not Please suggest me .

Hi,

What is your business rule for defining approval step? Is it something like, if Purchasing Group is 100, 1 step approval and if Purchasing Group 200, 2 steps approval ?

Hi Masa,

depending upon the Purchase organization approval levels will change. Maximum level of Approvals are 10.

How to acheive this.wt config need to be done. explain me in some detail

Hi,

BRF expression has case type 0CE001. You can use 0V_RQ_PURCHASNGORG expression for your scenario.

Please create a schema evaluation which returns schama name based on Purchasing organization ID. This is one of advantage in BRF (without programing solution).

Case 0V_RQ_PURCHASNGORG

50000044 3_step_approval

50000050 5_step_approval

50000063 10_step_approval

OTHERS 2_step_approval

Hi Masa,

But No Of levels required will be determined in BADI Implementation from ztable. i configured 10 process levels it is working when the approvers are 10. if it is less than 10 document is waiting for approval. actually i am not srm Functional, i am workflow technical. so please gimme some more details regarding this.

Hi,

If your condition is stored in Z-table you can use FM type (0CF001) BRF expression or Truth Table type (0PM001) BRF expression.

A. Schema evaluation - check z-table and return schema name

or

B. Level evaluation - each level checks z-table and return true or false
