Sizing in case of Multi-Instance Server

Hi Experts,

We try to install Solution Manager that is running as an ECC QAS.

And then, I'd like to estimate needed Memory, CPU.

Though I check the docs as follow, but I couldn't find that tell multi-instance.

Therefore could you tell me

- How to estimate in case of Multi-Instance.

- Whether it is possible or not in case of Multi-Instance.

Hello Toshi,

I recommend calculating number of SAPS for the existing server which is running ECC 6. Then also calculate the SAPS for ECC system and the Solution manager system which you have planned to install. If the server SAPS meets the sum of these two components then the server can handle else we should equip the hardware with more resource

Althoug I google "SAPS", I couldn't find the suitable one.

Hello Toshi,

Calculating SAPS differs from each component. You need to go through respective sizing guide and then get the inputs from the concerned team for proceeding further. So please check
