RAR BG job Error Interface Controller does not exist for Component Instance

On running fullsync job for User, Role, Profile Synchronization I receive this error "Error while executing the Job:Interface Controller does not exist for Component Instance VirsaR3_01 in Component Usage VirsaR3_01".

I've checked JCO connection and SLD and they are fine. This error comes up immediately after sheduling the job Any ideas on how to resole this?

The only new thing that was done recently is upgrading both frontend and backend to SP10 and scheduling a delete system job via manage deletion. Now when I try to run the full sync BG job for user/role/profile receiving this error message.

Please check your JCO connection details in your Content Administrator. You might be using an inactive JCO connector.

After verifying inactive JCo connection, restart J2EE and then try scheduling the BG job.
