Basic infor of SD module

Hi all,

Im working on the SD module for the first time.My deelopment will be mainly on reports and smartforms.As a starter,can anyone tell me what are the commony used transactions,transaction use tables ,FM's in SD module in general?Also a basic flow of the business processes in SD module would be helpful!

Any helpful links/docs highly appreciated!
