SPM Addon Installation error due to BI cont 7.04

Hi All,

I am installing SPM 2.0 ( Spend Performance Management )on BI system with BI cont 7.04, installation is not starting complaining that BI CONT should be 7.03. Following messages are thrown in the SAINT.

OCS package SAPK-200AGINOPMFND does not match the

current software component vector

BI_CONT,703 = X Non-permitted release of add-on BI_CONT installed

How can I go forward with SPM Installtion.

Hi Gopal,

I done some research and it seems that after the release of package

SAPK-20003INOPMFND which required BI_CONT 703, but their was a post release attribute change package OPMFND====200 so that it will accept BI_CONT 704.

Hi Paul,

Many Thanks for guiding towards the solution.

I have proceeded as per note 1150822, downloaded 4th SP of the SPM 2.0 and uncared and kept that in EPS/in along with the SPM PAT/ATT files and retried the installing which went successful.
