Results recoding : Copy

Dear All,

My requirement is as following.

During Results recording, system should copy results from other lots .This is possible if both lots belong to same Inspection type.

now reqmt is to copy any Insp type lotnumber to any Inspecn lot number..

Ex : lot no 01xxxxxxx from lot 0 3xxxx and 1xxxxx from 4xxxxx

If not possible , are there any exits, enhancements...

This is possible in standard system itself. In my case im copying inspection results of 04 to 10 type inspection lot.

Please explain the issue you are having

Hi Nagesh,

I have tryied with origin 04 to o4 but i am unable to copy the resutls from one lot to another lot.

1) Config setting done,

2) do we have any master data setting is required in this case?

Ex:

First lot: 40000000118 , result recorded for 2 characterstics out of 10

Second lot : 40000000120 -- here i am trying copy from precious lot -- open this lot and selected one charactestic --Edit- Copy inspection result - then system asks inspection lot number, there entered :this lot no 40000000118 then selected the check box and done,

but not copied the results.

Plz advise me, where i am wrong

Plant : 1100

Cont in insp lot : 03

Control in RR : 03

Close : tick

Origin TL : 02

dat org.RR : 02

selection : 300

mapping : 200

In inspection plan of material:

Change Insp Plan : General char data :

Origin results data : 02 pre inpsn lot

Done the same setting, but not copied the previous lot result to the current lot,

Hi,

First enter results recording manually for any one Inspn lot.

QA 32 :

Select Inspection lot click on results

system will display pop up " Inspection lot selection" enter manually results entered lot

next pop up click on on empty field..

results will now be copied..

--> popups are coming and entered in to the current lot, there entered the previous lot number which is results recorded, but results are not coming in the current lot,

Check the lot which you have selected.

check inspection plan as suggested earlier

Are you sure it isn't a problem with the mapping of the characteristics?

It doesn't sound like the system is complaining about the inspection lot number you are enterring so I am guesing the problem is that none of the characteristics are linking up.

Fiirst, make sure you satisfy the linking requirements of the FM being used in config. The standard one, (200) supplied by SAP says the following:

 The characteristic results of the source and target are linked via the   
 key fields for the master inspection characteristic, plant of master     
 inspection characteristic, and if available inspection method and plant  
 of inspection method.                                                                                
For inspection points, the number of the physical sample, functional     
 location or equipment is also considered.

Dear Rajaram

Inspection lot copy can take place from any inspection types. all the combinations are allowed in the standard system.

Please let me know what is the problem you are facing

Activate Copy functionality for all inspection types.
