How to activate IS-Utilities in IDES ERP6.0 Ehp1

Hello Everyone,

I would appreciate if anyone who has activated IS Utilities in IDES system to share the steps. I have referred to the following notes & links:

874414 - Add info about installing/activating IS-PS-CA on ECC 6.0 - I don't see IS-Utilities under SFW5 to be activated.

874416 - Additions for installing/activating Utilities on ECC 6.0

856284 - SAP ERP Central Component 6.0: Inst./upgrad and architecture

Any help is welcome & is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi Gabbasis,

Please see SAP Note 1244548 - IDES ERP 6.0 ECC 6.0 SR3 (section 9) it says:

9. Business Functions

In this IDES system, the Business Function FI-CAX (Contract A/R + A/P)

is already activated. Because of this no additional business function,

industry solution etc. can be activated.

There is no possibility to reset this status and to deactivate FI-CAX.

====================================================

As described , customers cannot use any IS with such IDES systems.

Please keep in mind that only one industry extension can be activated in a system and FI-CAX was not released

for combination with other industry extensions or add-ons.
