server0 does not start

Hi,

I´ve an ABAP + JAVa system and I did a homogeneous copy and now the J22 engine does not start and is strange because nothing is written into the /usr/sap/SID/DV*/j2ee/cluster/server0/log.

Can someone help me as soon as possible?

Hello,

The right place to check for the traces in in /usr/sap/SID/DV*/work.

Please check the dev_server* and std_server*.out files. This will lead you to the cause.

Please paste the excerpt here (the exception / error posted there in the end) if you need help with that.

Hi,

I´ve resolved my problem . I copy the server0 folder from the source system and then I put the correct permissions and the the system start.

Have you performed the all followup activities which are part of System Copy procedure ?

Which methods you used for System Copy ? DB Independent or DB Specific Method ? Which system Guide you have followed to perform such System Copy ?

Hi,

I follow the guide :

System copy for SAP systems based on SAP NW 7.0 including enhancement package1 ABAP Java.

The problem is that only 2 Jlaunch are running and just one Jcontrol, also the folder /usr/sap/AB2/DV*/j2ee/cluster/server0/log

is missing .

DB:oracle 10.2.0.4

OS: hp-ux

Any suggestion about what is happening?
