Stock type field in storage type search sequence

There is an option to specifiy the stock type ( like blocked stock , qi stock etc ) in the search sequence , what is the significance....where will it be used

Hi

Based on the IM-WM movement type settings , once if you do MIGO GRN into Blocked/Quality stock TR will be created , now the stock will be in interium storage area with the stock category quality/blocked.

Then in storage type search sequence define one line item with the relevant w/h number,putaway, stock category(Q or S) with the stroage type sequence where you want to place the stock,

Then once if you do TO stock wil move from interium storage area to the storage type based on the storage type search sequence

Test the same scenario in DEV

You can define storage type search in WM:

SPRO > LE > WM > Strategies > Activate Storage Type Search

Here you ca choose (e.g.)

- Storage Type Indicator (V_T305)

- Dertermine search sequence (V_T334T)

Here you can define the search sequence (V_T334T) and one key field in the search sequence is the storage type indicator (V_T334T-LGTKZ). So, based on the storage type indicator you can define several different storage type search sequence.

Which one should be used by SAP* for a ceratain material is defined in the mentioned fields (remoavl: MLGN-LTKZA; placement: MLGN-LTKZE).

*There are other key fields in table T334T, only one factor is LGTKZ...
