Duplicate Check Webservice in MDM 7.1 SP04

Hi All,

I got to know that, the Duplicate Check Webservice is present out of the box in the latest release ie. 7.1 SP04.

Does anyone have any information or documentation on this. Can you please share the same.

I checked in help.sap.com and also in the SAP release notes, i am not able to find any.

Which includes added features of new Web services.

So, i have to find create a matching strategy and then run the webservice to fetch the result.

Is my understanding correct.

Hi,

Yes, You have to first Create a Matching Strategy using Data Manager (*you can use existing matching strategy if your repository has one). Then pass this Matching Strategy name as parameter to the webservice to execute it Along with other parameters.
