How to Hide Categories in Support Message

Dear Colleagues,

The 'Category' field which we see in the Support Desk Message, displays all the categories which are defined.

I dont want to display the Unwanted Categories. What is the option for doing same.

Hi,

you can define categorys in SPRO with the following IMG-Activity:

Customer Relationship Management>Transactions>Settings for Activities>Maintain Categories, Goals, and Priorities>Maintain Categories

You can assign individual categories to your transaction type by using the IMG Activity "Assign Categories to Transaction Types" using the above path.

To hide the field completely, you have to create a transaction variant where you set the field to invisible (Transaction SHD0) and assign it to your transaction type.
