Hello,

Y want to format the IBAN code (from table TIBAN) with adobe form, but I can't solve my problem.

Example :

ZZ99999921600002009999994

XX99SOGE23699119902991

As

ZZ99 9999 2160 0002 0099 9999 4

XX99 SDEE 2369 9119 9029 91

Is it possible?

Thank you

Thierry

As i said, if you don´t want the user to change the value and you can do this in backend, do this in backend and use a simple text field which will only display the formatted value for you. Otto

Hello,

do you want the user to write the IbAN into the form? Or is it just output.

if that is just output, you can format it in your backend.

If the user fills the value

1) you can use more fields as mentioned above

2) you can let the user write one long string (with some "-" marks or something) and when the user is leaving the field (event of course) you can check the value, reformat it if the value makes sense or throw a message the value makes no sense, please, please, user, write a suitable one.

Regards, Otto

Hello,

I want just format the output.

I try to use the format of adobe designer but the output is always that I have in may filed.

If you have an idead with adobe I will be happy. In other case, I will format the field before send it to adobe.

Thank you

I imagine you could play around with the display mask until you find a solution.

alternatively, you could just separate them into 7 separate fields of 4 chars each.
