Levels in the hierarcy

Hi

Our profitcenter hierarcy have 11 levels, if you have the authorization to the top note. When BO make the hierarcy it only show 7 levels. Is it a limit or an error?

Hi,

Did you mean that you have only 7 levels generated in the universe whereas the hierarchy contains 11 levels?

Did you generate the universe with a user that has authorization restrictions on ths hierarchy?

Yes I have the authorizations for all the levels and BO only show 7. If there is only 5 levels in a BEX hierarcy, so BO only show the 5. Do BO have a limit on 7 levels in the hierarcy?

There is no limitation concerning the number of hierarchy levels exposed.

Can you provide screenshots from the hierarchy and the universe?

Hello Ricke,

is there a time dependent hierarchy structure or a hierarchy version involved ? Does the person that created the Universe have access to all levels ?

No there is no version or time-dependence in the hierarcy

I would suggest you trace the generation of a brand new Universe.

Tracing:

and provide a link to download the logfiles

We talk to SAP and they said my problem is solved with:

• Business Objects 3.1 fixpakke 2.4

• SAP BW 7.01 SP5
