Required fields in IW31

How to configure fields in IW31 - Service Order Creation to be mandatory or optoinal?

Trying to search "Field Status" in IMG, I couldn't find anything related to service order.

I believe a user exit can be used to control which field to be mandatory; however, before going that far, I would like to make sure that it cannot be done by configuration.
