Operations in Mapping

In PI 7.1, there is one option Operation in Service Interface.

What is its use & mean in PI 7.1 as this option was not in XI 3.0.

One of the pre-requisites to use multiple operation in one Service Interface is selecting the Interface Pattern as Stateless....some more are given in the above blog.
