Remote Client between two different SID`s

Dear Expert,

We have same product(R3-4.6C) is installed, with the same release, in all below three systems.

I have newly installed (QUA) test SAP R3 4.6C server. In my test System(SID-QUA) now I have to create two different clients(201,202) using the remote client copy of two different production servers.

My Requirements:

In Test System (SID-QUA) Need to create a client 201 is a Remote client copy of (SID=NNP)PRD server-Client 401

In Test System (SID-QUA) Need to create a client 202 is a Remote client copy of (SID=GNP)PRD server Client 801

1.Is it possible to create two differents clients in my test system using remote client copy of two different SAP (SID`s) PRD servers.?.

2.If its possible to do above method Is there any known issues will be occurred ?.

Hi Thirumalai,

I understand your query is regarding parallel process of two remote client copies? Ideally it is possible,but there are many operations issue if you start parallel processing,there are many issues could occur while performing.example, performance issues,database size requirements etc.

I don`t to want to do parallel process. I want to do the remote client copy one by one.

My Questions is

1.In different SAP SYSTEM SID`s Remote client copy is possible or not ?.

We have one test server - SID is QUA and two production servers sid (NNP & GNP)

2.If possible to do please let me know steps to do remote client copy between my TEST server (QUA) and PRD Server

Yes you can copy the clients in your system however only condition need to be met for client copy is repository level in both system must be equal without which client copy will not be successfull.
