Is there a place in Enterprise Portal that we can view for database space history? Like DB02 in ABAP. Our EP version is 7.00 SP19.

Hi,

As such there is no DB02 functionality there in the portal.

Thanks

Hi Sunny,

So how do you track down portal database usage?

You can connect any ABAP instance with DBACOCKPIT to your portal database and monitor the database usage remotely.

This is where people discover how more mature is the "old obsolete" Abap technology compared to the new "up to date" J2EE technology...

I agree with Markus and Olivier. You would need an ABAP system for this requirement.

You could use for example Solution Manager's DBACOCKPIT to monitor the EP database (and actually any other J2EE and non J2EE based SAP system). You would be also able to schedule the basic reoccurring DB13 Oracle jobs there. Currently I see Solution Manager as a central system for such kind of services and tasks.

Alternatively, you could create batch jobs (depends on your system) that will send you a report per mail and do the jobs. But I would definitely go for Solution Manager.
