Deletion of BOM

Hi Gurus,

i want to delete material BOM. this material BOM is already used as component in some other BOM's also.

my question is what is the procedure to delete Materail BOM if it alreday exist as component in some other BOM's also.

Hi Amit,

You can delete the Material BOM by the below mentioned steps.

1. Delete all the component in that material BOM

2. Once deleted, goto the Header, then goto Material BOM in the menu and select DELETE.

Hi Amit,

you need to delete that material BOM from BOM which uses this material BOM as its component and then you can mark deletion to your original Material BOM.
