No inspection plan connected to inspection lot

After a goods in no inspection plan is connected to a inspection lot. 2 inspection plans exist for this item, one created in 2005 the other 1 a few days ago. All data checked based on previous threads reported. UoM, inspection dates etc. Why does the system not insert a insp. plan when 2 valid plans exists?

Hi ,

When you are having 2 valid plan in that time system never assign plan by its own their fore in above case your lot generated with cretaed status.

Now you have to assign plan by going in change inspection lot where in tab inspection specification click on tasklist/spec. after that system will show you 2 inspection plans available in the syestem so here you have select any of your plan ,you will get maessage plan assign to lot ,Then save the transction .You will find your lot in released status .

Now you can proceed for result record & UD

Hi,

The inspection lot does have a inspection plan now, but the inspection lot does not appear on the qe51n, I assume because the status = created and not released. How to release?
