How to move quantity from Q to unrestricted quantity

Hi,

The problem is a quantity on Q which cannot be moved from Q to unrestricted. A inspection lot is created without a inspection plan or characteristics. Probably master data has changed during or after the inspection lot is created. A usage decision cannot be taken because no inspection plan is connected. What to do?

Hi,

Check your inspection lot status .if it is created status,then crate new inspection plan valid date should be before your inspection lot created date.

If your lot is at created status then only it is possible

Now you can assign new inspection plan by going in QA02 change inspection lot

In QA02 you can assign new inspection plan.

Hi,

In addition to Sanil's advice, you may be able to cancel the material document/movement that placed the stock into Q in the first place. This will cancel the inspection lot and you can then create the required inspection plan data and re-create the inspection lot correctly For example, if the stock was placed in Q due to:

1. Goods Receipt from Purchase Order

2. Goods Receipt from Production

3. Deadline Monitoring.

The underlying document is displayed in the origin tab of the inspection lot. But please note Sanil's advice is the ideal solution
