Suppress Cascading Prompts in the Prompts Window

Hi,

I have 3 prompts in the Webi report.

Prompt A is normal prompt.

Prompt B is cascading list of values which is dependent of Prompt A.

Prompt C is also cascading list of values which is dependent of Prompt A.

The problem I am facing is that, under Prompt B and Prompt C, Prompt A is displayed again, even though it is displayed as the first prompt in the prompt screen.

When I select Prompt A under Prompt B, then accordingly Prompt B values are populated. And when I select Prompt A under Prompt C, then accordingly Prompt C values are populated.

I would like to know whether it is possible to hide Prompt A from appearing under Prompt B and C.

I am using Business Objects XI 3.1.

Hi,

It is not possible to do such operation in BOE XI 3.x.

By the way, we have completely redeveloped cascading prompts in BOE XI 4.0 to support more use cases and normally your issue is solved in BOE XI 4.0.

Accordingly to my knowledge it is not possible to hide cascading prompts.
