AS2 Receiver Error

Hi Experts,

We are doing an upgrade from PI 7.0 to PI 7.1. For the scenarios which involve AS2 receiver channel , The scenario is as follows.

SAP ECC -

> PI 7.1 -

---

> AS2

configuration details of the AS2 channel

MDN mode : Synchronous

Handle receive MDN: No action

We are not using any sender agreement for the MDN, since Handle receive MDN is set to No action.

we are getting the below error in PI 7.1 whereas the same scenario works in PI 7.0.

Error message shown in Communication channel monitoring

Message-Verarbeitung fehlgeschlagen. Grund: javax.resource.ResourceException: Fatal exception: javax.resource.ResourceException: SEEBURGER AS2: AS2 Adapter failure # Outbound configuration error: Failed to get configuration from DTREQUEST and DATABASE.., SEEBURGER AS2: AS2 Adapter failure # Outbound configuration error: Failed to get configuration from DTREQUEST and DATABASE..

Please provide any pointers.

There was a Sender agreement with report channel required with the same parties combination which was there in the receiver agreement of the AS2 receiver channel.

Although you are not handling MDN, try creating the sender agreement with a dummy report channel. This should solve your issue.

Hi Prateek,

What shall be the sender party and the component that we shall use in the sender agreement for the Report channel.

we used the Business partner and component that has been configured for AS2 receiver.

But still the error persist.

Can you please elaborate, what does that error means. Is some configuration missing in XI or seeburger.

As it was AS2 receiver scenario, you must have used Party at receiver. Use the same party and service as Sender in sender agreement. Use the option "Sender uses Virtual Receiver" while creating the sender agreement and use PI Party name there as receiver name. Then assing the report channel to it.
