sample size

Hi, please advise how and where to make settings in the system that for each batch we need to take 1 part as sample for testing during recieving inspection. please advise.

hi,

Can you elaborate me .1 part means exactly fixed sample you want to draw or 1 part means in % .

So that I can tell you exact setting in master.

1) if you want to draw fixed sample then simply make sample procedure with QDv1 t code .Where you have to give fixed sampling ,manual valuation,with out inspection point radio button on. At the time of creating inspection plan against MIC put this sampling procedur & also you have to give their sample qty.

In control indicator of MIC sampling procedure radio button should be on.

If you want deduct sample qty from GRN qty then control indicator destructive radio button should be on.

2) If you want sampling on container basis then you have to make sampling drawing procedure QPV2

Where you can define here sampling drawing procedure based on container that you will mention in at time of GRN.

Hi Yadav,

In your inspection type....you can define how many % of lot size can be used for sample. You can assign sampling procedure and as well in inspection type.

You can assign the inspection type and customizie as per your requirement in details screen of QM view of Material Master.
