Hello Folks
If we do not use/attach a planning calendar(time streams) to the location master in SCM.
Which factory calendar (with holidays) will be considered during planning? Is there something like a global config for default factory calendar? Can that be changed?
Does it just consider only the time bucket profile if we do not attach a time stream to the location?

Slightly different "calendar" question...Can we have different shipping and receiving calendars? We would like to receive a truck in the lot 7 days a week, but not be able to ship unless resources are available. Can this be done?

Hi Rex,
If we do not use/attach a planning calendar(time streams) to the location master in SCM, then that location is an all day working location in your SCM sys. However if it is a plant, then you will have to assign a calendar in the resource.
If it is a DC then you should defineyour shipping calendar, to specify the starting time,. Good receiving time doesnt matter anything.
Thanks,
Satyajit
