Hi Muthu,

I don't exactly understand what you mean by '.. missing functionality'.

But i can tell you the following about return delivery: Yes it is available by default. In short the following configurations need to be made: Transaction type needs to be set-up (default: RETN), internal numberrange needs to be assigned and set-up for your transaction type and you need to set-up reasons in your back-end R/3 system. Smartform and smartform output is applicable and should be taken into account aswell.

Kind regards,

Hi tim

Smartform and smartform output is applicable and should be taken into account aswell ---> smartform facility not available in SRM550 . We do have for sc but not for confirmation/ returndeleivery..

Hi Muthu,

Are you sure? A smartform for a return delivery is available by default (print preview). The output actions definitions for confirmations/return delivery isn't delivered in our system but the transactionhelp tells me it does support it.

SRM [application BBP_PD (Procurement Document)] ships predefined action profiles (including action definitions and processing types) for the document categories (ERS) Credit Memo, Auction, RFx, Purchasing Contract, Invoice, Purchase Order, Confirmation, Shopping Cart, and RFx response.

Maybe I was a bit to enthousiastic but smartform facilities are definetly applicable. Although smartform output doesn't support return delivery by default it can be a requirement to set it up and from my point of view this seems possible, at least in SRM 7.0.

Kind regards,

Tim
