i sample scheme for liquid raw material for incoming goods,pls help me out how to do sample scheme.as per my sceniro chemical comes in form of liquid in truck 10000 lit.they are taking sample 1 lit.

pls tell how to make sample scheme.

Hi ,

Any how you are going to draw 1 L sample then no use of sampling scheme here .Simply just make sampling procedure QDV1 with option fixed sample & in inspection plan you can give sample size 1 L ,In sampling procedure with out inspection point radio button should be on.

Wow.. a liter sample seems high. But in any case, this isn't any different then any other sample procedure. I doubt you really want a samplimg scheme. For most truck incoming truck inspections we use a simple sample procedure that calls for a fixed sample of 1. Nothing fancy. Rarely if ever is the sample quantity tracked in SAP. Usually the truck is unloaded into a bulk tank so there isn't usually a requirement to track a lab sample, even if it is 1 liter.
