Characteristic with confirmation number & is already blocked

Hope all are doing great.

My question is regarding copying of results from one inspection lot to another.

When results are copied to the new lot , some of the characteristics are not copied and the error message i get is

"Characteristic with confirmation number & is already blocked"

If I am not wrong confirmation number is unique to every characteristic result , so why does this lock affect copying .

Most importantly this is not a repeated , if do the next time for a different set of lots with the same inspection plan it works. So i am sure nothing to do with the master data.

Please advice.

I checked for this message.. it was meant for the function group for QM interface...

by the way can you brief, from which transactiona and how you are trying to copy the inspection results?

Hi Nithi,

From description....i guess...it would be some other user may use that inspection lot in change mode or else.....some times...it is due to response time from database.
