The MDM PI Adapter does not have a poll interval, rather it listens to syndication event that is triggered on the outbound port in MDM. Manual placement of files won't help, instead trigger the syndication to that port (not file) either manually or through a workflow. Check the status in CC monitoring and let me know if this works.
MDM has the option of syndicating the data automatically or manually. When you do in either way they go through a port. So as soon as the data syndicated from MDM through a port and if that port matches the port in sender communication cahnnel it will automatically picked up.
Even though I mentioned port details, file is not picking up automatically, as I need to stop and start the communication channel only it is getting posted.
