Help ! maximum of 312 role / profil exceed in SU01

Hi,

i try to give a lot of role (activity group) to a user with SU01 transaction (ECC5 WAS6.40 SP09 for SAP_APPL)

When giving more than 312 roles (activity groups) i get following message when i want to save my modifications :

"maximum profils exceed for user ...", with message #01263.

Is there a system parameter that fixe this value ?.

Hi Etienne,

My collegue pointed out SAP Note 841612 to me. There states the maximum number of roles is 312.

Thank's for your response. We decide to change your approach on roles to keep under 312 limit.

312 roles it quite a lot!

You may want to review those roles, lots of the should contain duplicates or been simply obsolete.
