Hi,
What is the use of TSDM in the Planning Area?
What will be impact on the transaction data if we don't use this option in the planning area?
- Ram.
Hi Ram,
This functionality is only applicable only if you have
too many integrated processess of the logistics in your
supply chain.
Without this condition, if you activate this condition, it results
in accumulation of huge timeseries data management which
consumes more space and memory and results in
performance and hence not advisable to use until really
required

Hi Ram,
There is no impact on transactional data if we did not opt for
TSDM
This component is a data management module in SAP Supply
Chain Management (SAP SCM) that you can use to create and
to call time series data within the logistics.
You can use time series data management (TSDM) to configure
data storage, group the time series in clusters, and use multiple
time series data areas.
