Automatic Maintenence of Certificates

Hi,

1) How do we setup authorizations for SOLMAN_WORKCENTER? It says " User not authorized" although it has SAP_ALL.

2) I am setting up the automatic Maintenence Certificates but not able to figure out the place where I should make the below configuration? I am referring to http://help.sap.com/saphelp_smehp1/helpdata/en/7d/cf1a5fad324c94830409989dd3df32/frameset.htm.

To activate the automatic license data distribution for a system in License Management view in the Change Management work center.

1.Choose the system in the System Overview list.

2.Choose Activate Automatic Distribution under Automatic Distribution

Can somebody advise on this!

Hi,

For workcenter assign SAP_SMWORK_BASIC, SAP_SMWORK_CHANGE_MAN roles to your user.

SAP Note 1160651 - Work Centers: How to Customize (Solution Manager)

you will get change management tab, under that go to Lisense management you caqn ativate the license der.

Hi Shyam,

thanks a lot for your inputs.

Now I am able to see the SOLMAN_WORKCENTER data but it says "You Are Not Assigned a Business Partner".

Can you please advise the steps?

Hi,

You need to create Business Partner from transaction BP. Once your user id is assigned to a Business Partner number, you wont get this error.
