Addition to Joe and Oliver's update:

Hope your all DB changes in your DC are getting updated in your DR, then support patch change also will get reflected on DR.

No need to apply them on DR.

You still should provide a bit more of information.

By 'support stack upgrade' you mean ' SAP support stack upgrade', right?

And is 'Disaster Recovery site' a standby database and are you running log shipping ?

(Which database, by the way?)

If so, the support stack upgrade will be included in the logs, and reach DR site that way.

hope this helps

Thanks a bunch for your help.

By 'support stack upgrade' you mean ' SAP support stack upgrade', right?

Yes, It is SAP SPS upgrade

And is 'Disaster Recovery site' a standby database and are you running log shipping ?

(Which database, by the way?)

Database is MSSql server and we it is running on cluster (there are couple of DB's exist on the cluster)

If so, the support stack upgrade will be included in the logs, and reach DR site that way.

What about the Kernal upgrade, as there are executable files and OS dependent, we need to do the kernal upgrade on both sides...right?

Once again thanks a lot for your inputs.

You didn't say if it is a standby database...

(Cluster is not the same as standby database.)

And no, kernel upgrade is not included in database logs.

It seems that you have only to apply the kernel patch level patches on the Disaster recovery system.

But you should really give enough context information before asking questions. Nobody can guess your environment and its configuration.
