Hi experts
For one of our clients we are trying to setup SSO configuration between MII portal and external systems which will be accessed via MII portal. The main purpose is - The authentication assigned to a user in the MII portal should be passed to the external system while opening its page in the portal.
We know that its much easier to configure SSO settings in SAP EP by system mapping, but there is no such feature available in MII portal as far as we know, can anyone please give stepwise solutions on how to configure SSO setting between MII portal and external system
OR
is following option only one way for the same purpose?
In BLS
1) AutoBind box is checked.
2) SapUserName = $MYSAPSSO2$
3) I created a transaction parameter called MYSAPSSO2 is created and its assigned to the SAPSSO2Ticket property of JCO action block

MII is already configured to create tickets. All you have to do is go into netweaver and export it's certificate and import it it into the other system. The help should provide the steps needed to export the certificate, just depends on what version you are using.

Thanks for your answer. Yes we are aware of exporting certificate of logon ticket from NW. But our concern is to send this or import in other non-SAP systems which are .Net or Java based.
Can you please guide on how to send or import the SSO2 ticket to those external non-SAP systems?
We are using MII 12.0
Warm Regards
Som
