run sap 2ee server administration usr / sap / j2ee/// configtool and run configtool.exe. (make sure your sapmmc is running already, let it be around 10 - 15 mins after you have started) doesnt matter if disp+work.exe is yellow.

now in the j2ee configtool window.. make the following changes.

select dispatcher (in some its global dispatcher) --- managers --- Threadmanager.

In the right side.. check Initialthread , Minthread n Maxthread... set them all to defaults.. except Minthread.. let it be around 30.

save changes and restart sapmmc.. the disp+work.exe will turn into green for sure but might take little time about 5 mins.

the concept becomes like.. better late than never.

i solved my issue

i put the kernel update under \usr\sap\SID\SYS\exe\uc\

and also under \usr\sap\SID\DVEBMGS80\exe

and all are working perfect

Looks like your database user account is locked...

Try this from the command line : SQL> alter user SAPSR3 identified by (password) account unlock;

Note: I am assuming you are using default SAPSR3 as the user. The (password) is the password you used when you installed.

Then try R3trans -x again and examine the trans.log

Well Your trans.log tells a different story.........

Try again search google with the ORA message and learn

Run R3trans -x again to make sure...The message might have changed.........

Hi Ahmad,

BY0=>ORA-28000: the account is locked

To unlock your account fire the below query.

alter user SAPSR3 accout unlock;

commit;

BY0=> ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied

The password in SAPUSER table is wrong. To change the password in SAPUSER table use below query

DELETE FROM "OPS$<sid>ADM".SAPUSER;

INSERT INTO "OPS$<sid>ADM".SAPUSER VALUES ('SAPSR3','<password>')

in <password> give your password.

Go through SAP Note 400241, as mentioned by other Techie.

Try to start you DB and SAP independantly and paste dev_w0 ERROR lines, only if above note doesn't help!

Firstly, could you make sure you have the corresponding DBSL kernel? I notice that it says dbsl 700 030508, which doesn't match the date for level 185. It's 167. BTW, why not to use the latest kernel?

If DBSL is not the problem, please refer to note 400241 for the solution of error ORA-01017.

Hi,

Are you able to logon to database using "sqlplus / as sysdba" ?

If you failed to login, just check the below parameter in <drive>:\oracle\<SID>\network\admin\sqlnet.ora

and <drive>:\usr\sap\<SID>sys\profile\oracle\sqlnet.ora

It should be

SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES = (NTS)

It must be authentication issue...

Also check the profile parameter dbs_ora_tnsname = <DBSID>
