Hi Gurus,
I am having issues in Solution Manager SMSY after upgrading to EHP1. I am seeing multiple, redundent systems and components. For example, my APO production system shows 15 entries for the System and Java component entries. The format of the entries is as follows:
AP1
AP10001
AP10002
...
AP10014
They are all automatically generated. I have tried updated my version of note 1172948 with the most recent versions of all SLM notes, but this does not fix the issue. Has anyone else seen this issue?
Justin
Hi Justin,
I had the same issue and fixed it by deleting all SID's including the correct SID from SMSY and rerun the Landscape Fetch from SMSY_SETUP. After the job make sure you set the Synch from SAP Portal to "Do Not Synch" in SID details.
Read Snote - 1299281 for more information.
Thanks,
Sri.

One important thing, the Basic note changes from version to version.
For SP18-SP19: 1172948
For SP20-SP21: 1334252
For SP22: 1405878
Have you checked this is correctly done too?
Regards,
Daniel.

Hi Justin,
As you say you have already checked the Basic note 1172948, so kindly check the following notes and you may find the solution to this issue:
1299281 SMSY: Systems created with _0001 or _NABP
1376733 SMSY: Indicator NO_ABAP_INCLUDED cleared

Daniel.
