Iu2019m working on an internal project where we built a .xml download for PS to MSP. Now we're theyu2019re talking about making it bidirectional. The business doesn't want to buy an 3rd party solution and they donu2019t think OpenPS is robust enough.

Questions:

1. Can OpenPS be modified? Like change the VB code on the frontend and change the SAP program on the back.

2. Can RFC development be used to build this same type of interface?

3. Are there any other alternatives that SAP recommends?

Hi,

If you develop a interface between open PS server and SAP R/3 with the help of PI. Then you can modify the structure in open ps and in backend SAP data base will get updated.

This is the best alternative for your queries.
