Integration of SRM3.0 and MDM

Once the catalog is web published, you can configure SRM to look for the published catalog.

Hi Srisha,

Currently, MDM does not support for SRM objects.

It supports R/3 Objects like material, vendor, supplier etc.

You would have to create your own database design and mapping sheets in the import manager.

You can export the data to the import manager in form of XML using XI.

SP4 shall support Business Partner object too.

Hi,

One way of doing the Update in SRM is depends on the Architecture as SRM has some limitaoins. R/3 data usually can be imported to SRM but the reverse sinario is difficult eventhough it can be achieved thru XI.

Where as SRM to MDM the import has to happen through Import Manager. Currently MDM has not come with Standard Repository for SRM so you need to build it manually and map via XI for both Scenarios. Importing Data to MDM wont be a issues but syindicatoin will be issues as youwill have various joins etc from SRM. so create a Propoer Proflie of Syndication in MDM then connect to XI, XI to SRM will be a challenge as you have to do proper update of data from XI.
