SAP MMC dispatcher - disp+work.exe stopped

Dear Friends,

The SAP MMC dispatcher status shows 'stopped'. Last time around there was an issue with the XUSER. I have created the XUSER according to note 39439. The service event viewer shows the eror message "Failed to update service environment from user (SAPx64.ritam.com\j2eadm) environment. [ntservmgr.cpp 223]" on both the ABAP and J2ee servers. The dev_w0 and dev_ms logs are included below.

Hi,

i have wrongly changed the date in the date and time properties in NT2003 OS, then i have started SAP 4.7 R/3console,Now disp+work.exe stopped due W3 time error.

Please help to rectifiy the error.

The issue has been resolved. The problem was with shared memory. I found the solution in another post. The files \sapdb\data\wrk\<DB ID>.dbm.shi and \sapdb\data\wrk\<DB ID>.dbm.shm needed to be deleted.

It seems to be a kernel problem. Do check for SAP notes. HTH.
