Hi,

my db server and App server os time differs for some 30 min's.

i want to to synch the time in both servers.(DB,APP)

db server time is correct time and portal also working fine. but app server 30 min's lacking from db server. if i login to portal using app server i am getting system received expired SSO ticket.

so if i want to synch the time which time i should consider. db time or some other time.

if i change the application server time what is the impact.

Hi Kulandaivel,

Please make sure that time on both the dbserver and app server are in sync. See on which server the time is correct and make the other server in sync with that.

While you are changing the time of the server make sure that you stop SAP before that. After changing the time, then restart the SAP.

It's a cluster environment. if i cahnge the app server time. should i stop the db server also or only app server is enough. is there any impact if i change the time.

Hi,

If db is on Node A and app is on Node B then no need to stop db server. Only stop SAP in Node B, change the time and then start SAP.
