Hello,

I little bit confused in SLD for PI 7.1..

For eg we had a client "Turbo" .He used to produce TV,Refrigerators,washing machines & etc..

for this how many products should i have to create...if i create one product "Turbo" and how many software component versions should i have to create..

The main problem is for this project am the only PI developer working..i have to design everything..that too i had experience in PI7.0 only..

Please help me regarding this SLD design

If there is any helpful information reg SLD design please provide me..

Hi Mark,

You should go for one Product and 1 SWCV... Now if you different interfaces for different products (like tv, washing machine etc.) then you can have different namespaces..

Hi,

Based on the dataflow created the products and then need software components...

for e.g: if the data flow is like Toubo->PI ..then you can create the product like A_Turbo_PI....as product and then the software component version ..

if it is from PI -> Turbo..then A_PI_Turbo as product..and SWC...and in that create the namespaces based on the products ;ike...urn:turbo.com:tv..for e.g
